Allow your students to get fully immersed within the Rock Eagle experience by spending a few nights with us! A typical residental package starts with lunch upon arrival and includes everything (meals, lodging and programming) through lunch on your last day. The number of day and evening classes your students take will depend upon the length of your stay. Independent classes are classes which your teachers/chaperones will be leading. The length of your visit will determine the number of independent classes you will be responsible for providing.
When you are ready to make a reservation, contact Terri Camp at 706/484-2868. If you have any programming questions call Matt Hammons at 706/484-2862 or 2834.
Here are general guidelines for scheduling your classes. If you would like programming for more than three day, two nights, please contact 706/484-2862 or 706/484-2834 to determine the number of classes needed.

Program Class Descriptions - All of our classes are built around various themes, allowing students to make comparisons and ask questions about a variety of topics within the same class. The four themes Rock Eagle offers are: Ecology, Living History, Team Building, Outdoor Skills. Feel free to focus on one or two themes or mix it up for your students!
Class Request Form- Mail or fax the class request form one month prior to dates booked. Classes are scheduled as first come first serve. Reserve any equipment needed for independent classes. Notify Rock Eagle of any dietary restrictions or special needs at least two weeks before your visit.
GPS Correlations- Our classes have been correlated to GPS.

Journal Questions - We encourage you to have your students keep journals while at Rock Eagle. It may help you in assessment, as well as being a powerful tool in self-reflection for students. It may also be a great memory piece for them in the future. Breaks between classes and before or after meals are great times for students to write in their journals. It is most effective if they are given time to write at least a little bit at the end of every class.
Vocabulary Pages - In order to assist in your students' preparation for Rock Eagle classes, many of our classes have vocabulary pages.
Pre/Post Activities-
Use these activities to help prepare your students before the trip or as a great wrap up in your classroom!
Photo Pages - Check out the fun others students had at Rock Eagle!
Independent Curriculum (i.e. Teacher Led Activities) - We have designed class outlines for teachers to lead their own classes.
